Whereas the Churchwardens above named and William Bine< no role > Charles Pratton< no role >
William Dodd< no role > and Edward Walter< no role > Overseers of the said parish of St
Clement Danes with the assent of two Justices of the peace according to the Statute in
that behalfe made and provided have put Phillis Hilman< no role > Apprentice to Letetia Rolfe< no role > wife of ye
above bounden William Rolfe< no role > for the terme of havenyears and have
given with her Five and Forty shillings Now the condicon of this obligacon
is such that if the said William Rolfe< no role > and Edmund Sermon< no role > or either of them
their or either of their heires execrs: or Adminrs; do and shall well and Sufficiently Pvide
for keep and manitaine the said Phillis Hillman< no role > in by and with all and all
manner of needfull and necessary meal drink washing lodging linnen apparell
and all other necessaryes meet and convenient for such an apprentice during the
said terme of Seaven yeares And also do and shall save harmless & keep
indempnified as well the said Churchwardens and Overseers and their Successors
as also all other the Inhabitants of the said parish of St: Clement Danes from
and against all and all manner of costs trouble charge accons Suites taxacons
rates or other trouble or incumbrance whatsover dureing the said terme
which they or any of them shall or may Susteine be at or put into by reason
of the keeping and maintaining of the said apprentice or any thing relateing
thereunto Then the obligacon to be void or else to remaine in full force.
