Mary Rogers< no role > Aged about Twenty One Years lodging
at Mrs. Clarks in Wych Street in the Parish of Saint
Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westmr. upon Oath
Says she never was Married and that she lived a hired
Yearly Servant with Mr. John Mead< no role > at the Sign of
the Naggs head in Drum Alley in the Parish of Saint
Clements Danes for One Year and upwards at the
Yearly Wages of Three Pounds hath quitted her said
Service about Three Years and hath not since Rented
House Paid Taxes or lived a hired Yearly Servant for
One Year And further upon her Voluntary Oath says
she is Pregnant with Child or Children which is or are
likely to be born a Bastard or Bastards and to become
Chargeable to the said Parish of Saint Clement Danes
she being Poor and unable to maintain the same when
born Says that one John Talbott< no role > a Chairman who lodges
in Haughton Street in the said Parish of Saint Clement
Danes had Carnal Knowledge of her Body one Sunday
Evening in the Fields between Islington and Bloomsbury
sometime the latter end of Septr or the begining of Octr.
last past but the Particular Day this Examinant cannot
ascertain at which time he got her with Child of the Child
or Children with which she is now Pregnant and that the
said John Talbott< no role > and no other Person did beget the Same
