The King Arthur Connelly< no role >
On the Conviction
middlex Bond Esqr
us a Rogue & Vagabond

William Smith< no role > of Peter Street
Broomsbury in the County of Middlesex
One of the Bail of the above Arthur Connelly
maketh Oath and saith That an January last
the said Arthur Connelly to whom this Deponent
was at that time a total Stranger came to
this Deponents house and enquired for [..]
[..] Unpurnished Lodgings that he then
a presented himself to be in the Prosecution
of the Law and refused this Deponent to a
Mr Price of No. 18 Mr Queen street Blooms-
-bury cabinet maker, with whom the said
arthur Connelly before lodged, for his Church
which said Mr Price gave the said Arthur
Connelly a very good Character or this Deponent
would not have reffered him to have been
a Lodger in this Deponents house

That in April last this Deponent believing
the said Arthur Connelly to be or person
of an honest disposition entered into a
Recognizance with one Edward Reynolds< no role >
of Broad Street Bloomsbury Shoemaker
for the appearence of the said Arthur
Connelly as the next sessions which this
Deponent would not has done had he not
thought the said Arthur Connelly< no role > an honest
