RECEIVE into your Custody the Body of Arthur Connally< no role >
herewith sent you; brought before me John Floud< no role > Esqr . one
of His MAJESTY's Justices of the Peace in and for
the saidCity and Liberty, County by Thomas Jones< no role > and others
and chargedbefore me the said
Justiceupon the Oath of Robert Beresford< no role > and Joseph Taylor< no role > with being
the Person who on the 22nd Day of april last past was Convicted and adjudged by and
before Nicholas Bond< no role > Esqr , one of His Majestys Justices of the Peace of the said County for
being to Rogue and Vagabond within the true intent and meaning of the Statute made
in the seventeenth Year of the Reign of His late Majestys King George the Second
Intitled "An Act to amend and make more effectual the Laws Relating to Rogues & Vagabond [..]
and other Idle and disorderly Persons and to Houses of Correction" And who thereupon become
bound in a Certain Recognizance conditioned for his Personal appearance at the next Sessions
of the Peace to his held for the City and Liberty of Westminster , then & there to Prosecute this
appeal with effect against Conviction that day had and made against had for being a Rogue
and Vagabond within the true therefore lately keep in your said Custody Intent and meaning of the said Statute To which Said appeal
to the said Conviction he hath not yet appeared but hath altogether failed to Prosecute the
said Appeal with effect As appears by a Certificate from under the Hand of Thomas Vaughan< no role >
Esquire Clerk of the Peace for the City of Liberty of Westminster dated the fourteenth day of July Instant, [..]
Him [..] therefore keep in your said Custody Until Shall be discharged by die Course of Law,
and for so doing this shall be your sufficient Warrant.
