Allowing him the Old Materials And the said New Buildings
are now carrying on.

Charges of Repairing
the Hospital & of building
[..] St. Thomas's.


We have caused the Several Wards & Buildings
within this Hospital which were much decayed & out of Repair to
be repaired & put into good Condition which Charge with the Ordinary
Repairs of the Hospital & the Charge of the new building eightNew
Houses at the East End of St. Thomas's Street mention'd in the last Year's
Report amounted to £3750

Mr. James Steere


We have Granted to Mr. James Steere< no role > a Lease of a House
in the Old Bailey late in the Tenure of Robert Johnson< no role > for 21 years
from Michas next at £23 P ann clear Rent and he to lay out £130
in Substantial Repairs to the approbation of the Governors.

Grant to Thos. Dawson


We have Granted to Thomas Dawson< no role > a Lease of two Houses
adjoyning or near St. George's Church at £4 P ann clear Rent for 21
Years from Midsumer last he paying a Fine of Forty pounds.

Grant to Hampy Wood


We have Granted to Humphry Wood< no role > a Lease of a piece of
Ground near the Marshal Hackney containing about eight Acres
at present held by Samuel Woodfield< no role > for 21 Years from Michaelmas
next at £16.. P ann clear Rent.

Grant to Anthoy Ford


We have Granted to Anthony Ford< no role > a Lease of a Tenement and
Lands at Hackney late held by John Cotton< no role > for 21 years from
Lady day last at £30.. P ann clear Rent

We have Granted to Elizabeth Nicholson< no role > Spinster & Margats.

< no role > Widow Executrices of Nathaniel Smith< no role > deceased a
Lease of some Houses & a Tan yard in the Grange Road in the
Parish of St. Mary Magdalene Bermondsey for a Term of 55
Years from Michaelmas next at. £24 P ann clear Rent & £150
Fine they to surrender two Leases whereon are about Seven Years to
come, and to rebuild one of the Houses which is now in Ruins, make
a new Roof to another & compleat the Repairs of the whole Building
in which new Buildings and Repairs they are to lay out £400 within
Seven Years and make the same appear when required.

We have Granted to George Scott< no role > a Lease of two of the new
Houses at the East End of St. Thomas's Street for the Term of 14 years
from Lady day last with Liberty to quit at the end of the first seven Yrs
at £28 P ann Rent and to leave them divided as two Houses
