Grant to Battyll &
Hancock


We have Granted to Thomas Battyll< no role > & Thomas Hancock< no role >
a Lease of the Hospital Farmes at Teversham & Fulborn in Cam-
bridgeshire for 21 years from Michaelmas 1738. at. £100. P ann
clear Rent & £600..- Fine to be paid within two Years.

John Freeman< no role >
chosen Butler .


Walter Jones< no role > late Brewer Etc Butler to this Hospital being
deceased and the Service of the House requiring that a proper Person should
be soon appointed to Officiate till a General Court should be held And
the Grant Committee being impower'd thereto by several Orders of Genl.
Court We appointed Richard Butler< no role > to Officiate as Brewer & Butler
till the then next General Court And the said Richard Butler
dying in Short time We appointed John Freeman for that Service
and recommend him to this General Court for their Approbation.

Joseph Rowbotham< no role >
chose. Beadle


Matthew banks< no role > one of the Beadles of this Hospital
being deceased We have chosen Joseph Rowbotham to be one of
the Beadles in the room of the said Matthew Banks

William Gray< no role > Chose Porter


Samuel Sladen< no role > Porter of the Foregate of this
Hospital being deceased We have chosen William Gray to be Porter
in his Stead.

We taking Notice that Mr. Jonathan Welch< no role > Steward of
this Hospital has behaved himself very diligently for the year
past do recommend it to this Court that he may have a Gratuity of
Ten Pounds paid by Mr. Treasurer.

We have Ordered Green Staves to be sent to the following
Gentlemen as proper Persons to be Governors of this Hospital
vizt.
