The Hospital Repairs


Several of the Wards & Buildings within this Hospital being much
decayed & out of Repair We caused the Whole House (except the new built
Wards (to be view'd & consider'd by Mr. Danson the Surveyor, and upon an
Estimate made by him The Charges of the necessary Repairs were
computed at between Seven & Eight hundred Pounds Whereupon We
appointed a Sub-Committee to direct & agree with Workmen for such
Repairs.

Tho. Martin chose Beadles


We have chosen Theophilus Martin< no role > to be one of the Beadles
of this Hospital in the room of George Needham< no role > who could not attend
the Service of the Hospital by reason of his Debts.

We taking Notice that Mr. Jonathan Welch< no role > Steward of this
Hospital has behav'd himself very diligently for the year past, We
recommend it to this Court that he may have a Gratuity of Ten Pounds
paid him by Mr. Treasurer.

We have ordered Green Staves to be sent to the following Genl
as proper Persons to be Governors of this Hospital Vizt.

Dr. Plamptre's resignation


Dr. Plumptre late one of the Physicians of this Hospital
having resign'd that Office We desired Mr. Treasurer to return our thanks
to the said Dr. Plumptre for his long & faithful Service & ordered a Green
Staff to be sent to him which has been done accordingly.

All which we submit to the Judgement of this
Worshipful Court.

the Steward thereby recommended is ordered to be paid by Mr
Treasurer
