or Assignes of two messuages or Tenements wth: the appurtences scituate
standing & being in the Forestreet adjoining west upon a Messuage or Tenemt
Comonly Called or Knowne by the name or signe of the old Bird in hand & East
upon a Messuage or Tenement now or late in the tenure or Occupation of
James Hannaway, And also all those three messuages or Tenemts and
Schoole roome stituate standing and being in the Herring Yard and
the yard before the same as it now lyeth and also the garden or garden
plott lying behind the said prmisses all which said & premisses are scituate
and lye in the pish of St: Thomas in Southwark in the County of surrey
and are holden of this hospitall by Vertue of an Indenture of Lease
bearing date the first day of January Anno Dui 1658 thereof made
by the then Governours of the possions revenews and goods of this
hospitall to one Samuell Lynn< no role > for a Certaine Terme of years not yett
Expired wch: terme Estate and Interest appeared to be now come unto and
vested in the said Willm Yardly in right of his wife, the relict of Willm Lynn
the said Willm yardly came to this Agreemt: with the comittee (to witt)
That the said Willm Yardly< no role > his Executors Admors or Assignes
shall pay into the hands of the Trear or Clerk of this Hospitall for the
time being for the use of the said Hospitall, the sume of One hundred &
Twenty pounds at the feast of the Maturity of St: John Baptist next
ensueing the date hereof for a lease agreed to be made of the prmisses
in convenient time afterwards to him the said Willm Yardly or his
Execur: Adminr: or Assignes by Indenture for a terme of Thirty nine
yeares to Comence imedietly from and after the Expiracon of his said
former Indenture of Lease att and under the present rent of Eight
pounds & sixteene shillings P Ann: payable quarterly by equall
porcons with the further reservacon to the Hospitall of two pounds
thirteene shillings and Fenre pence upon every alienacon of the Prmisses
and also fitting Covents to oblidge the said Willm yardly his Execr
Eldmors or Assignes to rebuild the two first menconed messuages
or Tenements substantially with brick and also to repaire the last
menconed messuages or Tenemts: in three herring yard aforesaid
within two yeares next comeing after the date thereof in which Indr:
of Lease so to be made of the Prmisses as aforesaid shalbe moreover
conteined all other Covents and Condicons, Mutatis Mutandis as are
conteined in the said former Indentr. of Lease of the premisses
be the said willm [..] Exectr: or Admr: makeing the life prisons
of maintenance for his said wife out of the premisses as were made
upon or suite his inter marriage with her.

This court ordered that a lease be forthwth: made to the
said Willm Yardly< no role > his Executr: admors or Assignes of the said bargains
premisses according to the said Agreement And that in convenient
time the Trustees appointed by his Maties Letter patents for the
Letting and disposing of the Lands and Tenements belonging to this
hospitall be applied to for the sealing and Executeing the same
