our a late ditch

Wee have agreed with Mr: William Waterman< no role > to Let him a Le [..] of
a peice of Ground now in his possion in the parish of st. Thomas near the
Little Maze pond adjoining Eastward to the Alley leading from the
said Maze pond in to the Tenths for seaven years from Christmas
1701: at £4: per Ann And in Consideracon thereof Mr: Waterman
agrees to make a Dennise to this Hospitall of his Right of Mayor
passage over the late Ditch lying in the Front of this ground and alsoe
over that part of the Ditch which lyes before other ground belonging to
the Hospitall adjoining Westward to this Ground as farr as his Grant
from Mr: Weston extends at a pepper Come per Ann from Michas
1701 for all the remainder of the Terme he has to come by Mr.
Westons Grant.

And Wee have agreed with Mr. Richard Fosters< no role >
to let him a Lease of Forty Eight foot in Front and Forty Six foot in
Rear of the Ground Fronting the Maze pond and lying next to the
West side of the Ground or yard let as above to Mr: William Waterman
with the old Buildings thereupon For the Terme of Fifty one years
from Christmas 1701: at £4:8s: per Ann and a Fine of Thirty pounds
which he hath since paid He is to layout Two Hundred pounds in
Building a New Brick house and Workehouses on part of the said
Ground within One year and in Repairing the old House standing
on other part of the said Ground And the said Foster is to have the
Materialls of the Two old Houses in the Front of this ground to
his own use.

In pursuance of the direccons given to us at the last generall
Court Wee have treated and agreed with Madam Lydia Jones< no role > to
pay an Annuity of Sixteen pounds per Ann free from Taxed to her
her Execrs: Admr: or Assignes dureing her own Life and the Life of
Mr: Bezaliell Bayes< no role > of the City of Norwich Weaver Inconsideracon
of Three Hundred pounds paid by her to the use of the Hospitall
The payment of which Annuity is served to her by a Demise of
Twenty pounds per Ann ground Rents of Three
Houses in the Old Baily London.

Wee have admitted Nathaniell Wills to supply the
place of Porter of the Backgate in the roome of John Knight< no role > decd
who was since the last Generall Court admitted into the said
place
