Sr Wm Honywood< no role >

Wee have treated with Sr: William Honywood< no role > Barrt : our
Tenant of the Demesue Lands of Hastingleigh Etc. in Kent in relacon
to the Matters referred to us by the last Generall Court and wee have
thereupon adjusted with him the Accompt for the Two acres per
Ann of Underwood due to him by his Lease in lieu of all Boots to

Three perches Eleaven Rood And as to the Thirty Seaven young
Timber Trees felled by him Anno 1700 : in Becks als Aldelose Wood
in Hastingleigh it appeares to us that he felled the same without any
manner of Order from this Hospitall and is thereby guilty of a very
great wast and spoile and the greater in that the Trees were young
and by his own Accompt all of them admeasured but to Five Tunor
there abouts And it appearins to us that Sr: William Honywood< no role >
was by the Contract made upon his takeing the Lease to be allowed
Twenty Tun of Roggh Timber for Repaires and he haveing had
but Ten Tun before he comitted this Wast Wee are of Opinion that
unless he consents to Release the Remr: of the said contract he
should be forthwith proceeded against at Law for felling the said Trees.
