A Young Man of respectable Coarneacons having been recom-
-mended to the Treasurer by one of the Members of the Grand Com-
-mittee, as a Proper Person to weat will Mr. Stocheld for the Assign-
-ment of the lease of his form at Parndon, he is disires of giving
him the Preference a poor the Occasion, and he is to meet Mr. Stock-
-eld or her friends in a day or two in order to bring the Matter to
an Issue. As you had a Person in Your Vaccan, who you thought
would be an iligeble Tenant, the Treasurer weakes may Truly,
with him may be Postponed till the Event. of this young Mans'
Negociation with Stocheld us Known.

The Treasurer desires You will acquaent the several Tenants
of the Hospital farms, under your Superintend once, that he purposes
[..] over taking a View of them, and as they are under Cevenant
to repair & keep in Repair during their Leases, he flotters himself
he shall find the Buildings in such Condition, the farms under
such a Course of Management as well be reputable to them &
satisfactory to himself, and induce him to form such an Opinion
of them as to render them deserable Tenants upon their respective
Farms.

On the other Side I send you an Account left as the
Hospital Yesterday by Mr. Purtis of a Valuation of same Trees
at Parrdon by Mr. King, in a beck a Balance is [..] ted to be due
to Mr. Partis of £23.3Pre [..] fer you are well acquainted
will the Circumstances; if not, it may be Proper for some Person
to be appointed to examine the Accot. & set that it is right

The Young Man who is in Treaty with Mr. Stocheld for her [..]
has not yet struck a Bargain.They had I believe, nearly
agreed, but Stocheld had included the Savory land as attacked to his
farm, that has I been declared in [..] , as a Mulf the Parteas
Leed here with the Treasurer it has been necessary for them to
reconsider their Terms, & the Result is not yet come forth.

Octo. 18. 1800.Wrote to him enduring a Paper of Mr. Partis, Till to
two Peices of land at Parrdon, & one [..] to the Value have of some Trees
from him to the Hospital will at ann to No. 8. of £23.3desire
Mr. C. to such some Enquiry to the Miller, the Mr. Marshall probably
can throw light upon it.

Inform him that Mr. Fair & Camp have not yet came to
an Agreement about provides the lease of Stocheld, farm
