I wrote to you by Yesterdays Port, & this Morning the Treasurer
has shewer me a Nob from Mr. Dear who says "I liveed the distress
on Mr. Stochelds Effects & upon taking the Inventory I find there will in
six Pounds to pay the Rent & Charges. Things do not appear the most favour
-able; the Houses in very bad Condition, the others in a most
recenable State; taking Thing altogether I think they appear very
dera [..] From this Report, the Treasurer presences you have not
lately seen Parrdon, or that Mr. Stocheld has not laid was the £200
in Repairs which he covennated to dothe evertes not to put Mr. Stocheld
to any unnecessary Expence but he knews not Low the destress [..] can be
(saflly) releived but by the Payment of the Rent Then Mr. Stochelds
Claims may be enguered into Lady dated.The Treasurer insented a
Week that he Mr. Crernwell's yourself could neer it Parrdon, Hook
ever the Estate there, but did not say when it would occur him so to
do.

Sir
Mr. Cromwell informs me that he wrote you from Cherkunt
desiring a Meeting with you at the Hospital on Friday the 3. Octo.
Today he has been in Town in Consequence of a Surrenders from Mr
Treasurer, & it is now agreed that the Treasurer Mr. C & Mr. Robenson
the Hospital Surveyor, should meet at Great Parrdon (at Sturton)
on Saturday Morning the 4 Octo. at which Time & place you are
desired to be of the Party. Their Purpose is to see the State if
Stocked, Premises, & as much of the Parrdon Estate arthur Time
will allow.It is finally settled that a Sale to take place of
Stocked, Effects on Monday next to satisfy the levi Years read, the
Claims he sets up may be discussed when you meat & allowed as
a Set of against the half Year rent due as Mr Thomas. You
have fixed it seems , the 30s. for receiving the Paradon rents; Put [..]
it is too late to alter the Apprenti [..] otherwise if you could
make it the 3 Octo. you would then be on the Spot to receive the
Treasurer the next day.

Sir
It having been represented to me that sunday Collb said to be
the property of Mr. Chandler are inserted in the Colegur for
Mr. Stochelds Saly. I have to require that the send Collb (altho'
found upon the Hospital Estate) may not be sold unless the
other Properly inform insufficient to salary the demands of
the Hospital.
