Sir
Not having had the Pleasurer of seeing you, which I expected
from your Letters some Time ago, I think it necessary just to
say that having filled my Office for twenty Years of being
advanced in life, I am about to resign it, & the 18th. of this Month
is paid for this Purpose, & for the Choice of a Successor; if you
wish to communicate any Information before that Time, made
me willing to appreze your of it.

Dear Sir
I duly received Yours of 28th part with two Bills value
four hundred & eight Pound £408. of which fifty six Pound is
on Accot. of Bewick rents to Mut [..] 1799 & Three hundred fifty
two in past of Tibshelf rents to Ladyday 1800.

Last Wednesday the 25 June Abel Chapman< no role > Esqr . was chosen
to succeed me as Treasurer , to whom you will please to direct
in future, as I shall not quit the House for some Time therefore if
any Letters come so directed I shall open them . The Cullecy Culect [..]
the £30. I doubt not you will do what is proper.

I shall go into the Week as soon as I can adjust Matters
here; shall always be glad to hear of the Welfare of yourself
& farmily & am

be proper to inform you of it, & that Abel Chapman Esq has been
chosen thereto, therefore be pleased in future to direct as under

Mr. Harrison, the Treasurer of Guys, has just put the Paper, of which
the inclosed is a Copy, into my hand, with an Enquiry whether the
late a present Treasurer went acquainted with the Circumstances
dated in it. I answered have Not to my Knowledged. Our Grace
Committee near Wednesday, but as he will not be able to be
