St. Thomas's Hospital 5 June 1800;
Sir
I reced yours of 28th part with the draft of Mr. Sharpe's lease,
& the fough Account balanced. The Beld if £120 is paid but I would
not adverse drawing in that form, though it may save Stamps; this
might do in some Cares, therefore draw in the use it was, one the
after date or at a Shorter Time if it makes any difference You talk
of drawing for about £300. for the Colliery, don't put yourself to
any Inconvenience but draw in different Seems & defer it as long
as you can; it will act deep in the £400, the Sum proposed at first
Mr. Cromwell will not see Mr Sharpes lease for some days, but I
think the Term must commence Ladyday 1799, being the Time the
[..] Leases expired, otherwise will leave a Charm, & the same if
any other Leases are applied for. Your Lease Mr. Cromwell will
attend to.I pursed with Mr. Cromwell at Barnet after a
pleasant Journey & gst house Wednesday Morning. I [..]

I have not yet settled Mr. Philly's Quit rent, owing to my Neighbour
Mr Harsnor being out of Town, but expert to do it this Week. This
need not delay the Matter therefore I wish you to serves what
you have in hand to which I will and the £20 left with me,
also what I may receive from Mr. Pilby & enter the whole in one
Sum on the Accot. of Auslay Quit rents received by you according
to a Rental received from you some time ago, & inform you of the
Account

I wish also you will settle, & if you can remit Look us
Insurance or any Thing else that may arise so that I may it
have it Monday the 16th. or the day after, for Wednesday the 18th.
is paid for resigning my Office, & charging another Treasurer
I have not be end [..] further from the Person who applied about
[..] Tagells Premises.

On examining, once my last Letter, your Accounts of the Sough,
we deservered a do [..] rence of £30 in the Amount. Our Account inches
it £979.17.10 & yours £949.17.10. On checking the several Articles
we find your draft for £30 dated 28 Sepr. venelled this was paid
the 2 Octo. being drawn on demand. In your Letter of 29 decr last
with the Tibshelf Accot. a Charge of £36 is made on Accot. of the Sough
We cannot make it out without your Assertance.

The 18th of this Month is paid for chiring a Treasurer in my room:
if the Balance of the Buseek be settled by that Time it would
clear the Way tho' it is not a Matter of much Importance
