I reced yors: of the 4th inst: & the inclosed Bill for £12..1..3
in accepted, which, when paid, with the Allowance of yor. ½ year's Salary,
will clear the half year's Rent due from the Tibshalfe Tenants at
Michmas 1744, & shall be placed to their Accot: accordingly

According to yors. of the 30th: last, I sent to Mr.Hatherill
for the year's Rent, whose Answer was that he would pay it in a week's
time, which was last Thursday, if he had sold the Wool; but hearing nothing
further from him, Mr. Treasurer has ordered me to acquaint your
therewith, that it is not yet paid.

Pursuant to Mr Treasurer's Orders I am to acquaint
you that Mrs: Palmer who desired the two Farmes at Sabridgworth
in Hartfordshire to this Hospital, died in 1727. The Farmes, which
were then in a bad Condition were ordered to be repair'd And the sd.
Repairs were finished in 1735. for which Mr. Robt: Warner< no role > a
Carpenter of Bishop Stortford was paid £442..2..10..- and Mr. John
Hockley
< no role > the Tenant was allowed as laid out by him £176:11.5..
all £619..1..5. Mr. Treasurer desires you will take the first
Conveniency of seeing the sd: Farmes, & of knowing what further
Repairs the Tenant requires, with [..] which you will please
to acquaint Mrs. Treasurer.
