I Wrote you last post that I prayd you to call on me
here or at Mr, Matthews house in Sherborn Lane Lumbard Street
on Easter Tuesday to take an Appointment to go Vallue
about £1000 worth of Timber on a Farme at Pinner near
Edgworth in Middx & prayd you to give me a Line of
Notice of your receipt to this for my Satisfaction which
I am expecting & am Yours. Etc Signed by the Trear.

Sir,
I laid your letter before the Grand Committee and have their
directions to acquaint you that they look upon all bargains
made with them are intended to bind both them and the persons
with whom they Contract and instances of receding from
such agreements are Scarce known to them, however as you
you are a Gent of worth and Character and the only question
being what Sum shall be laid out in the repairs they will as
you desire leave that to you and the Covenant Shall be only
to put the Prmisses into Sufficient repair & keep the Same
so as usual.
