Sr.
I Sent you a Letter some time since, wherein I Stated to you A
Mistake which appeares by our Books to have been Committed
22 o. Janry 1714 in Respect to your Rents of £35 & £6.12s:
Upon that day £5:8s: is made reced of you for One quars: Rent due
at Chras then last past. Whereas a quars: Rent comes to £10:8s:
so that you paid £5: Short of what was then Actually due.

In October 1715 you paid £20:16s: And without any Notice taken
of this Mistake, That money is entred for 2 quars: due at Midsumr:
last, altho' the true Arreare at that time was £25:16s: This Mistake
has past unobserved till I wrote that Letter; I desired you would
in some Short time call at the Hospll: and bring yor: Receit of
22th: January 1714 with you; This you were not pleased to Comply
with, And yesterday in my Absence paid my Clerk 2 quars Rent
as due at Lady day last, without takeing any Notice to him of that
Letter. Sr. It is not fitt that this Matter should lye any
longer unsetled. I therefore Request of you to be at the Compting
house Saterday morning next at 11 o Clock and to bring the Receit
with you of January 1714 and Octobr: 1715 and what else you
have that may give Light into this Affaire. I beg you not
to faile comeing, who am Etc.
