Sheweth
That by a certain Conviction under the Hands
and Seals of
Nicholas Bond< no role >
Esquire and
John Floud< no role >
Esquire
two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the said County of
Middlesex
upon the Oath of
Richard Harris< no role >
and
Robert
Beresford< no role >
of Stealing a certain Dog called a House Dog from the
said
Richard Harris< no role >
the Owner thereof on the eighth day of
May in the year aforesaid at the Parish of Saint Giles in the
Fields
in the said County for which Offence your Petitioner
was adjudged to Forfeit and pay the Sum of Twenty Pounds
of lawful money of Great Britain (being your Petitioners
first Offence) to be applied as the Statute directs together
with the Sum of Twenty Shillings being the Sum as certained
by the said Justices as the Charges presious to and Attending
such Conviction
That your Petitioner not having Stolen the said Dog
conceive himself aggrieved
Your Petitioner therefore humbly legs leave [..]
Appeal against the said Conviction and that he
hearing and determination thereof may be
adjourned until the next General Quarter
Session of the Peace to be held for the said County
And your Petitioner shall ever Pray Etc.
