To the Worshipful His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex in Session Assembled

The Humble Petition of the Churchwardens and overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of Chipping Barnet in the Liberty of Saint
Alban

Sheweth


That Stephen Fields< no role > Sarah< no role > his Wife and their eight Children
namely Susannah< no role > aged upwards of nineteen years Charlotte< no role > aged upwards of
fourteen years Stephen< no role > aged upwards of thirteen Years Frances< no role > aged upwards
of eleven Year Thomas< no role > aged upwards of nine years James< no role > aged upwards of
seven Years John< no role > aged upwards of three Years and Sarah< no role > aged about
sixteen Months were by an Order under the hands and Seals of William
Bleamire
< no role > and Kinnard Esquires two of His Majesty's Justices
of the Peace in and for the said County bearing date the Seventh day of June
One thousand Seven hundred and ninety seven removed to the said Parish
of Chipping Barnet from and out of that part of the Parish of Saint
Andrew Holborn which lies above the Bars in the County of Middlesex as
being the Place of their last legal settlement whereby your Petitioners Conceive
themselves aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore humbly pray your
Worships that the said Order of Removal may be
Quashed and that they may be reimbursed the
Costs and expences which they have in this Case
wrongfully sustained
