The Information of Simon Stephen< no role > of ye 1st. Regimint of Fest Guards toll Sebughts Compr
touching the death of John Shivers< no role > taken and acknowledged
this 19th day of September 1753

Who Saith that on Tuesday the 28th. day of August last about
a Quarter of an hour pash Eight o Clock in the Morning This informant
together with his Comrade James Davis< no role > coming form the Magazine Quard
in Fyde Park he saw a Boy in a Wooler Cap and Brownish Clothes in a
Walnut tree next the Gap opposite Grosvenor Gate who appear'd to be about
15 Years of Age-That he saw two Men riding thro' the said Gate towards
the said Tree and that Immediately after [..] the said Two Horsemen had
Pass'd the said Gap near the said Tree where the said Boy was, he saw the
said Boy standing on his Feet. He further Saith that her saw no Person [..]
Persons near the said Boy nor near the said Gate except the Paid Two
Horsemen And that he did not hear any Complaint or Now made by
The said Boy That he then went out with his Comrade at Grosvenor
Gate for some Beer and Saw no more of the said Boy.
