Taken the 14th. Day of Septr. 1753 at,
the White Bear the Corner of Old Street
Square in the parish of Saint Luke
in the County of Middlesex before Robert
Wright
< no role > Esqr. Coroner for the sd. County
on View of the body of Soleman Burton< no role >

This Informant saith that on the 9th. of this Instant being
at the House of Mr. Gillam between 9 & 10 in the Evening
he call'd for some Rumbe, & Moore Joseph Mursey< no role >
came to the box deced was in & drank with Informt.
Says that afterwards Mursey & [..] informt. had some
word but were parted form coming to blows &
Mursey left Informt.-says that abt. 12 o' Clock
of the same night deced ran to Informt. with his
face bloody & askt him to take part-accordingly
Informt. went with him & deced struck Mursey
with his fist & says deced was naked, & imediatly
deced cryed out he was Stab'd- [..] Where upon he
saw Mr. Gillam Coller< no role > the sd. Mursey who then had
in hand a Small sharp Weapon-& verily beleives
the sd. Mursey killed the deced with the sd. sharp
