At the General Quarter Session of the peace of our sovereign Lord the
King holden for the County of Middx at Hicks hall in St. John street in
the County aforesaid by adjornment on Tuesday the fifteenth day
of April in the eighth yeare of the reign of our sovereign Lord
Grorge the second King of Great Britain France & Ireland Defender
of the Faith before Thomas Lane< no role > John Martin< no role > Alexander Garrett< no role >
Andrew Osborne< no role > Esqrs . & other their Fellows Justices of our said Lord
the King assigned to keep the peace in the County aforesaid and also to
heare & determine divers felonys trespasses & other misdeeds comitted
in the same County,

Whereas the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the parish
of St. Ann Westminster in this County have exhibited their humble
petition & appeale unto this Court at this present GeneralQuar
Quarter Session of the peace (which Session began & was holden
at Westminster in & for the said County on Monday the fourteenth
day of April Instant and was from thence continued by adjornment
untill this day, to witt, Tuesday the fifteenth day of the same Month
of April instant and is on the same day holden by adjornment at
Hicks hall in St. John street in & for the same County) settingforth

That by vertue of a Pass warrant under the hands & seales of
John Milner< no role > & Benjamin Burroughs< no role > Esqrs. two of his Maties
Justices of the peace for the said County (one being of the Quorum)
bearing date the third day of this instant April Richard Gostelean< no role >
& Katherine < no role > his wife were removed from the parish of saint
Giles in the fields in this County to the said parish of St. Ann Westminster
whereby the Petrs. conceive themselves to be aggreived,
And that therefore they humbly appeale to this Court against the
aforesaid Pass warrant and Adjudgement of the said two Justices,
whereupon It is Ordered by this Court that the benefit of the said
appeale be saved unto the Petrs. And that the hearing and
determining thereof be and the same is hereby adjourned untill
the next GeneralSession of the peace to be holden for
this County, And that the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor
of the said parish of St. Giles in the fields (upon notice of this
Order) and all persons concerned doe attend the Court of the next
GeneralSession of the peace to be holden for the said
County by adjornment on
next at ten of the clock in the forenoon to heare & abide
the Judgment & determination of the same Court touching the sd. appeale
