At the General Quarter Session of he peace of our
Sovereign Lord the King holden for the County of-
Middx at Hicks hall in St. John Street in the County
aforesaid by adjornment on Monday the twenty fifth day of
February in the Seventh Yeare of the reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the second King of Great
Britain France & Ireland [..] Defender of the Faith
before William Cowper< no role > Paul Hensch< no role > Alexander
Garrett
< no role > Andrew Osborne< no role > Esqrs . & other their Fellows-
Justices of our said Lord the King assigned to keep
the peace in the County aforesaid and also to heare
& determine divers felonys trespasses & other evil-
deeds committed in the same County,

Whereas James Jones< no role > exhibited his humble petition
unto this Court at this present General Quarter Sessions of
the peace beguun & holden for this County on Monday
in the week next after the Feast of the Epiphany-
(to witt) the fourteenth day of January now last (which session was and
from thence continued by several adjornments
untill this present twenty fifth day of February
instant) [..] setting forth That on or about the
eighth day of December one thousand Seven hundred
& thirty two the Petr. was by the Overseers of theParish
Parish of St. Dunstan in the West London bound an
Apprentice at about twelve yeares of age to John
Fowler
< no role > then of Orchard Street in Westminster
White Smith, at which time the said John
Fowler
< no role > had two Apprentices, and that about
three weeks time after the Petr. was so bound as-
aforesaid he the said John Fowler< no role > took another
Apprentice, and never put the Petr. but for about-
three weeks to work at the said trade, And that the
said John Fowler< no role > having no tools last summer and
also having a place at whitehall the Petr. was left-
destitute, and had not the Neighbours at Shepherds Bush
