Whereas Complaint has been made unto
us two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex (Quor unus)(one being of the Quorum)by
the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
ofSt Giles in the Fields in the said County, That
Elizabeth Findall< no role > widw: of John Findall< no role > & William< no role > his Child by his
former wife Deced & [..] her three Children by a former husband John Higgenbotham< no role >
Deced Vizt. George< no role > aged ten Years Sarah< no role > aged Eight Years & John< no role >
aged Six Years are
latety come into the said Parish endeavouring to Settle
there, contrary to Law. And it appeareth unto us the
said Justices, and we do adjudge Thatthey arelikely
to become Chargeable to the said Parish, and upon Exami
nation ofElizabeth Find all
taken upon Oath, it further appeareth unto us,
and we do likewise adjudge, Thatthe parish of St.
Clements Danes in the said County
is the Place of the last legal
Settlement of the said Elizabeth Findall & four
Children
These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to Charge and
Command the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of St Giles in the fields
forthwith to remove and convey the saidElizabeth
Findall & four Children
from the said Parish of St. Giles in the
Fieldsto the said
Parish ofSt. Clements Danes and deli
verthemto the Church-wardens and Overseers of the
Poor there, or to some or one of them who are hereby re
quired to provide forthemaccording to Law; Given un
der our Hands and Seals the14thDay ofDecemr 1733.
