Whereas Samuel Wilkinson< no role > Cook exhibited
his humble peticon & appeale unto the Court of
General Quarter Sessions of the peace holden for
the County of Middx by adjornment on Thursday
the twentyeth day of April last setting forth That
by an Order under the hands & seales of John
Ellis
< no role > and Miles Harper< no role > Esqrs. two of his Maties
Justices of the peace for the County of Middx
(Quorum unus) dwelling in the parish of St.
James in the Liberty of Westminster in the said
County the Petr. is adjudged the reputed Father
of a Female Bastard child born in the said
parish on the body of Martha Tull< no role > Singlewoman
on the twenty Seventh day of March last, And
that thereby the said Justices did Order that
the Petr. should forthwith pay or cause to be
paid unto the then Churchwardens & Overseers
of the poor of the said parish or to some or one
of them the sume of three pounds of lawfull
money of Great Britain for & towards the laying
and one months lying in the said Martha
