By adjournment same day
The Chairman having informed the Court that it had been
represented to him by Messr. Milne and Couse "That it would be most to the
advantage of the County to purchase the whole of the Ground belonging to
Jervoise Clerke Jervoise< no role > Esquire and others in Cold Bath Fields instead
of taking only Four Acres part thereof as was at first proposed and
that he was afraid they should at last be obliged to go to a Jury

Resolved that in that Case The Jury be directed to sett a Value upon
the whole of the Ground proposed to be purchased of Jervoise Clerke
Jervoise Esqr. in Cold Bath Fields

And also that they be directed to sett a separate Value upon the
four Acres part thereof particularly delineated and described on
the plan made thereof by the said Messrs. Milne & Couse

By adjournment same day
Resolved That William Watherstone< no role > be permitted to serve the
Prisoners in new Prison and the House of Correction at Clerkenwell
with Bread until the County day of the next Session

By adjournment at the Sessions House
aforesaid on Wednesday the Second day of November

It having been represented to this Court by the County Treasurer
that there is a considerable Arrear of the last County Rate remaining
unpaid by the several High Constables of this County

Resolved That Notice be sent to the several High Constables
of this County to direct them to attend the Court at the next County day
to shew Cause why they have not paid in such Arrears to the County
Treasurer.
