Another Bill of the said Samuel Newport< no role > for the like from
December 7th. 1785 to January 4th. 1786 amounting to

A Bill of Alexander Fenwick< no role > Governor of the House of Correction
at Tothill fields for Money paid by him for the Subsistence
of Prisoners and Vagrants from Octr. 16th. 1785 to Janry. 3rd.

A Bill of Peter Jackson< no role > & Henry Hagan< no role > for Bread deliver'd
to the Prisoners in Tothill fields Bridewell from Octr. 13th.
1785 to January 5th. 1786 amounting to

That the whole of these Demands amount to Two hundred
and Seven pounds Nineteen Shillings and One penny farthing and the charges
in the said several Bills and Demands appearing to your Committee to be just
and true It is their Opinion that the same ought forthwith to be paid

And your said Committee further Report

That several Bills of Joseph Wood< no role > for Carpenters Brick
Layers, Plumbers, Smith and Painters Works done by him at the Session house
and at New Prison and Clerkenwell Bridewell during the last Year
amounting to £94..1..9 . And also two Bills of Jeremiah Williamson< no role >
for Smith s Work done by him at New Prison & Clerkenwell Bridewell from
the 5th.day of January last to the 16th. day of Decr. last amounting to £30..5s..7d
were laid before them, but the charges in the said Bills not having been
certified to your Committee to be reasonable by any Surveyor, Your Committee
do not think themselves competent to Judge thereof, and therefore Submit
the same to the Consideration of the Court.

And Your said Committee further Report

Report a great
Increase in the
Bills for New paries
for Sick Prisoners

That upon Examining the Bills for Necessaries delivered
to the Sick Prisoners in New Prison and the House of Correction at Clerkenwell
they find a very great increase in the Amount of such Bills, Your Committee are
therefore of Opinion that the same is a proper Subject for the Consideration
of the Courts

All which the Committee Submits Etc
