George Byng< no role >
Esquire Reported that he had waited
upon the Proprietors of the New River
Company and had mentioned
to them the absolute necessity there was for a greater supply of Water
to the Prisons belonging to this County that the Proprietors said
They were very ready to supply the different Goals with a greater
quantity of Water provided the Magistrates would cause proper
Recepticlen to be placed in the Prisons to contain a sufficiency
of Water to serve them by making a Well or Tank or other proper
