Whereas the Suitors of this Court are often much harrassed and
put to great expence and inconvenience by means of persons bound to
appear here and answer or to prosecute their Traverses making
default and not appearing according to their Recognizance (to which
they are encouraged by the facility with which they afterwards get each
Recognizances discharged). Whereby public Justices is frequently greatly
delayed and obstructed It is therefore hereby Ordered that no
such Recognizance which already hath been on hereafter shall be ordered
to be entreated into His Majestys Court of Exchequer shall be afterwards
discharged without special Motion for that purpose in open Court and
due proof made upon Oath that notice in Writing or such Motion has
been given to the prosecutor on left for him at his usual or last known
dwelling on place of abode [..] previous to such
application together with a true Copy of the Affidavit or Affidavits
intended to be read in Court on such Motion.

Mr. Benson Treasurer of this County having informed
the Court that he has now in his hands the Sum of £850 belonging
to the County It is Ordered that he do forthwith pay the same
into the Hands of Mr Eyles Treasurer to the Commissioners for
building a New Session house for this County in further satisfaction
of the payment of £4000 under an Order of Court made in May 1782

The subsequent Petition from Mr. Ann Batty< no role > Executrix
of the last Will and Testament of James Crozier< no role > late Governor of the
House of Correction at Clerkenwell deceased being laid before this
Court and Read Vizt.
