At the General Session of the Peace of our
Lord the King holden in and for the County of
Middlesex at the Session house for the said
County (by adjt.) on Thursday the Twenty seventh day
of February in the Twenty third Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third
King of Great Britain Etc:

His Majestys Justices of the Peace for this County in this
present Session of the Peace assembled Do Unanimously Reelect
William Mainwaring< no role > Esquire to be Chairman of the General and
General Quarter Session of the Peace for this County for and during
the half Year new next ensuing and do also unanimously return
thanks to the said William Mainwaring< no role > for his Administration
of Justice as Chairman and punctual attention to the duties of the
Office during the last half Year.

to the Election of a Governr.
of the House of Correction
at Clerkenwell }


Mr. Holford withdraws
his name as a Candidate

The Orders of Court made on Thursday the 16th. day of January
last being read and also an Advertizement published in pursuance
of the said Orders giving Notice that a Geovernour to the House of
Correction at Clerkenwell would be Elected this day And also a
Letter from Mr Walford informing the Court that he wished to
withdraw his Name from being a Candidate for the said Office and
the Petitions of Mr Harwood and Mr. Banfield being also Read.

Resolved to be necessary to
make Alterations and
Regulations in respect
to the fees as also in the
managemt. Government
of Bridewell .}

It was Moved that it is necessary to make
several Alterations and Regulations both with respect to the Fees
and perquisites to be taken by the Governour Keeper of Clerkenwell
Bridewell as also in the Management and Governmont of the s [..]
Bridewell which Motion being agreed to:

The Govenour of the House
of Correction to be subjt }

It was Moved that whoever shall be Elected to the
Office or Place of Governour on Keeper of Clerkenwell Bridewell
