His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County of Middx assemble
at this present General Session of the Peace holden for the said
County Do elect Samuel Pechell< no role > Esqr . to be Chairman of the
General Quarter and General Sessions of the Peace to be
holden for the said County between Michaelmas 1752 and
Lady Day< no role > 1753 in the Place and stead of Thomas Lane< no role > Esqr.

Resolution concerning
Licensing of Houses or
Places for Dancing
Musick or other
publick Entertainmnt.
on the County Day of
Octr. Sess: 1752.}

Resolved that is Majestys of the Peace for the County of
Middx will on the County Day of the next General Quarter
Sessions of the Peace for the said County (to wit) Thursday the
twenty Sixth Day of October next take into Consideration the
Affair concerning the granting such Licenses as they in their
Discretion shall think proper to Persons keeping any House
Room or Garden or other Place for publick dancing Musick
or other Publick Entertainment of the Like kind in the County
of Middx and that no other Publick Busyness be transacted
or done in Court on the same Day except the granting or
refusing such Licenses.

Esqrs . and such other Justices of the Peace of this County as will
pleace to be present or any three or more of them as
Committee to meet together at Hicks Hall inst. John Street on
Tuesday the 17th. Day of October next at Ten of the Clock in the
Forenoon to consider and select such standing regulating Orders
of Sessions of the Peace of this County as they shall think proper
to be printed for the Use of his Majestys Justices of the Peace of
the said County, and also to consider if any and what Yearly
