A Report being made unto this Court are tenns by several of
his majestys Justices of the Peace
being a Quorum of the Committee of Justices of the peace
of this County in this behalf
appointed that they have inspected the Bill of Mr.
Richard Holmes< no role >
Bricklayer
for Bricklayers work by him
done at Hicks Hall in St. John Street
amounting in the
whole to the sum of Three pounds four shillings and
one Penny and that they have also inspected the Bills
of Mr.
Richard Jupp< no role >
Carpenter
and his Son
for Carpenters
work by them done at Hicks Hall
aforesaid, amounting
together to the sum of eleven pounds ten shillings eleven
Pence and three Farthings And the Committee declaring
that it is their opinion that the sum of three pounds
and four shillings be allowed and paid into the said
Richard Holmes< no role >
upon his said Bill, This Court doth
thereupon order that the same sum be accordingly
paid by Mr.
John Higgs< no role >

unto the said Richd.
Holmes in full of his said Demand, And as for the said
Bills for Carpenters work done at Hicks Hall the said
Committee being of opinion that the sum of ten
pounds be paid by the said Treasurer unto the said
Richard Jupp< no role >
upon account doth order the same
accordingly And the respective reciepts of the said
Richard Holmes< no role >
and
Richard Jupp< no role >
together with this Order shall be
sufficient discharges to the said Treasurer
for such
respective payments.
