By Adjornment on Thursday the 14th. Day
of May 1752 .

Order concerning
Samuel Clanfield< no role >
Occupier of the
Mulberry Garden< no role >
House at Clerkenwel }

It is Ordered by this Court that Samuel Clanfield< no role > the present
Occupier of a Messuage or Tenement Called or known by the Name
of the Mulberry Garden House with the Appurts situate and being
at Clerkenwell in the County of Middx (being Part of the Estate
belonging to the said County) who hath obtained a Licence to
sell Beer and Ale by Retale, Do keep Good Order and Rule in
the said House and not suffer any Disorders to be Committed
therein And that the said Samuel Clanfield< no role > do pay such
Sum of Money as shall be due from him for Rent of the said
Premisses at Michaelmas next unto John Higgs< no role > Gentleman
Reciever of the Rents of the Estate belonging to the said County
And also that he the said Samuel Clanfield< no role > do then Quitt and
deliver up the Possession of the said Premisses unto the said
John Higgs< no role > or to such other Person as the surviving Grantees
and Trustees of the said, Estate shall Appoint together with
such Goods and Things as were Left upon the Premisses by
John Bray< no role > the Late Occupier of the same.

It is Ordered by this Court that it be and it is
hereby recommended and referrd unto his Majestys Justices
of the Peace of this County herein after Named (to wit) Thomas
Lane George Cooke< no role > John Milner< no role > John Derbyshire Birkhead< no role >
Pierce Galliard< no role > Richard Hassell< no role > Henry Buller< no role > Pacey Vigerus< no role >
Edwards Merry< no role > Teshmaker Richards Ricards< no role > George Errington< no role >
Boulton Mainwaring< no role > John Dekewer< no role > George Garrot< no role > Philip Dyot< no role >
Thomas Jervis< no role > William Withers< no role > William Caslon< no role > John Lawton< no role >
and Walter Berry< no role > Esquires and such other Justices of the
Peace of this County as will please to be present or any three
or more of them as a Committee to meet together at Hicks
Hall in St. John Street on Tuesday the Twenty third Day of
June next at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon And from
thence to proceed and to View New Prison and [..] the House of Correction at
Clerkenwell and to consider if it be Necessary that any and
what Part thereof should be rebuilt for the more safe
Custody of Prisoners Committed thither, and to take to
their Assissance such Able Workmen as they shall think
proper and to make and Estimate of the Expence
