Order for appointing Mr.
Henry Finch< no role > High
Constable within
the Hundd. of Gore
in the Place of Stead of
Wm. Edlyn< no role > }

Application being made unto the County Mr. William Edlyn< no role >
High Constable within the Hundred of Gore in this County
informing this Court that he hath served the said Office of High
Constable for Several Years And praying that he may be discharg.
ed from the same This Court upon Recommendation of
Joseph Taylor< no role > and Wm. Sharpe< no role > Esqrs . Two of his Majestys
Justices of the Peace of the said County residing within the said
Hundred Doth appoint Henry Finch< no role > of Greenhill in the
Parish of Harrow within the said Hundred in the County
Gent. to be high Constable within the said Hundred of Gore in
the Place and Stead of the said Wm. Edlyn< no role > And doth order
that the said Henry Finch< no role > do forthwith (after Notice to him
Given of this Order) all end the said Two Justices or on of them or
some other Justice of the Peace of this County and before the
Said Two Justices or one of them or other Justice as aforesd.
forthwith take his oath before for his Due Execution of the Office
of High Constable with in the said Hundd. of Gore , And
from and after the Time of his having taken such Oath
the said Wm. Edlyn< no role > is to stand absolutely discharged
from being High Constable within the said Hundred.

By Adjournment on Thursday ye. 20th. Day of Febry. 1752

Upon the Humble Petition of Mr. James Yalden< no role > high Constable
within the Hundred of Edmontoner this County exhibited unto this Court
setting fath that he hath Executed the same Office of High Constable upwards of
One Year and that the Execution of the said office is very prejudicial to him
And the Petitioner therefore praying that he may be discharged from the same
This court being satisfyed of the Truth of the Premises Doth upon the
Recommendation of Richard Hassell< no role > Esqr . one of his Majestys Justices of
the Peace of this County acting within the Said Hundred appoint Luke
Bredworth of South Mims within the said Hundred in this County
