Order for continuing and
electing Thomas Lane< no role > Esqr.
to be Chairman of the Court.}

His Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace for the County of Middx now assembled
at this present General Session of the Peace this day holden by
adjournment at Hicks Hall in St. John street in & for the Said
County Do continue and elect Thomas Lane< no role > Esqr . to be Chairman
of the General Quarter and General Sessions of the Peace to be
holden for the Said County of Middx between Lady day One thousand
Seven hundred and fifty two and the twenty Ninth Day of
September then next ensuring.

By adjournment on Thursday the 20th. Day of February 1752.

within the Hundred of Gore
in the place & Stead of
Mr. Tho: Kimbell< no role > }

Application being made unto this Court by Mr. Thomas Kimbell< no role >
High Constable within the Hundred of Gore in this County informing
this Court that he hath Served the Said Office of High Constable
for Several Years and praying that he may be discharged from the
Same, This Court upon the Recommendation of Joseph Taylor< no role > &
William Sharpe< no role > Esqrs . two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace of
the Said County residing within the Said Hundred Doth appoint
John Cogbill< no role > of Hendon within the Same Hundred in this County
Gent. to be High Constable within the Said Hundred of Gore in
the place and Stead of the Said Thomas Kimbell< no role > , And doth order
that the Said John Cogbill< no role > do forthwith (after Noticeto him
given of this Order) attend the Said two Justices of the Peace or
one of them or Some other Justice of the Peace of this County and
before the Said two Justices [..] or one of them or other
Justice as aforesaid forthwith take his Oath for his due Execution
of the Office of High Constable within the Said Hundred of Gore
And from and after the time of his having taken Such Oath the
Said Thomas Kimbell< no role > is to Stand absolutely discharged from
being High Constable within the Said Hundred.
