Whereas severall high Constables in this County have
continued in their Office divers yeares above the usuall
time that high Constables doe generally hold their Office
which hath been found to be very inconvenient, For
remedy whereof for the future It is thought fit and Ordered by
this Court that noe high Constable in this County shall
hereafter continue in his office of high Constable above
the space of three yearesunless he shall be relented &
appointed high Constable by the Justice of the Peace for
this Conuty to be assembled at the General Quarter Session
of the Peace to be holden for the said County.
