George, Entituled, An Act for repairing the Highways from
Severall Places therein mentioned leading towards
Highgate Gate house and Hampstead in the County of
Middlesex and for electing Trustees for keeping up a
Sufficient Number for the repairing the Highways
upon the Roads from Highgate Gate house to Barnett
Blockhouse and also of the Highways between Kilburn
bridge and Sparrows Herne in the County of Hertford,
And in case they should find any misapplication of the
Moneys levyed by the said Act or any abuses of the Power
& authority thereby granted, thereupon to certify the same
to the Justices of the Peace as their then next Generall
Quarter Sessions to be holden for this County, the time
limitted for the transacting which matters was by Order
made at the General Quarter Sessions of the Peace
holden for this County by adjornment on the Sixteenth day
of October now last enlarged untill this Present Generall
Quarter Sessions of the Peace holden for the Same
County, This Court upon consideracon had of the
matters contained in the said Report doth agree to
the said Report But to the intent that the Trustees
therein menconed may be heard touching any matters
therein Specifyed (if they shall think fit) This Court doth
Order that a Copy of the Said Report be laid before the
said Trustees at their next meeting after Twentieth
day of January instant, And that the said Trustees may
be heard touching the matters contained in the said
Report at the next General Quarter Sessions of the
Peace to be holden for this County by adjournment at Hickshall
in St. John Street in the said County on Tuesday the Seventh
day of Aprill next at Ten of the Clerk in the forenoon if
they shall think fit, And this Court doth recomend it to
the said Trustees that they do in the mean time observe
the Rules set down in the latter Part of the Sd. Report, & Order
the same to be observed & Performed by their Under Officers
Agents and Servants,
