The joint and several Informations of Richard Lacking< no role > [..] of
Chick Lane in the City of London Locksmith , William Langley< no role > of
Great Marlow in Buckinghamshine Bargemaster , [..]
Robert Benson< no role > Servant to George Pengue< no role > , of Snow Hill in the City of
London Dialer in Copper, and Francis Smart< no role > of Check Lane aforesaid
Constable , Who being upon Oath, severally say, and first the said
Richard Lacking< no role > [..] for himself saith that yesterday about twelve of the
Clock at Noon, the Prisoners now under Examination George Bridgstock
came to the Shop of this Informant, and asked him if he bought Copper
to which he replied "yes" Says he asked what Sell of Copper it was, the
Prisoner replied, that it was new Copper, he believed it came out of a
West Country Burges, and offered it at the Price of four Price per Sound
Says that the Prisoner agreed to being the Copper in the Evening and
Informant suspecting that it was not honestly came by gave Informant
and caused the Prisoner to be apprehended

And the said William Langley< no role > for himself saith
that he believes the Price of Copper now produced, is the same which was
stolen from his Barge on Sunday Evening last, as he believes by the
Prisoner at the Bar, whom he saw in the Barge

And the said Robert Benson< no role > for himself saith
that upon inspecting the Mark upon the Price of Copper now produced
he is satisfied it is one of the Pieces stolen out of the Barge of the
said William Langley< no role > and says that the other Peices in the said
Barge bear the same Mark

And the said Francis Smart< no role > for himself
saith that having received Information of stolen Copper being offered
to Sale to the other Informant Richard Lacking, he waited and about
Six o'Clock yesterday Evening, apprehended the Prisoner, with the Piece
of Copper now produced upon him
