Whereas the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Little
Warley in the County of Essex
have Exhibited their petition and appeal unto this
Court Setting forth that by Virtue of an Order under the hands and Seals of Two of his
Majestys Justices of the peace
for the City of London
and Liberties thereof (one being of
the Quorum) bearing date the Seventh day of April Instant Mary< no role >
the Wife
of William Mathews< no role >
a Sailor
and their three
Children
namely Mary Ann< no role >
aged Ten Years William< no role >
aged Seven Years and
Margaret< no role >
aged Two Years were Removed and conveyed from the out of the
Parish of Saint Andrew Hubbard
in the City of London
to the said Parish of
Little
Warley in the County of Essex
aforesaid as the place of their last
legal Settlement And that the Petitioners Conceiving themselves aggrieved
thereby humbly appealed against the Same Wherefore at the Request
of the Petitioners It is Ordered that the Benefit of the said Appeal
be Saved unto them and that the hearing and Determination thereof be and
the Same is hereby adjourned unto the next General Session of the peace
to be holden for the City at the Guildhall
aforesaid on Monday the
Twenty Eight day of May next at Eight of the Clock in the Morning and
that due Notice hereof be given to the Church Wardens and Overseers of
the poor of the said parish of Saint Andrew Hubbard
