WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Andrew Hubbard in the said City of
London, That Mary< no role > the Wife of William Mathews< no role > a Sailor and their
three Children Namely Mary Ann< no role > aged Ten Years William< no role > aged Seven
Years and Margaret< no role > aged two Years had
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and were likely to become charge
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said Mary as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Mary and her said three Children
to be in the said Parish of Little Warley in the said County
of Essex
and that hitherto they ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty< no role > 's Name to will and re
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Andrew Hubbard in the said City of
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said Mary and her
said three Children
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Little Warley< no role > in the said County
And them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro
vide for them according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this Seventh Day of April One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Eighty one
