for himself saith that he had
on Wednesday the twenty, second day of August intant (about six o Clock in thehis
Evening of that Day his, Pocket pickt of a Pocket Book containing the Draft for twenty
Pounds now produced and that he was at the time he lost it
on Darham Downs as he apprehends and believes
The said Informant Joseph Stephenson< no role >

saith that the Draft now produced was Brought to the
Banking House of the said Messrs Currie & Co for Payment
by the Prisoner James Hyatt< no role >
on Thursday the Twenty second
day of August Instant between 12 and one at Noon, That Informant askt the Prisoner
his Name and that he reply'd [..] that his Name was
Hyatt and that he would write it upon the Bill [..]
[..] , that after having ask'd him some questions
he was taken into Custody the said other Informant George
Gipps having sent an express acquaintain Messrs. Currie
and Co. of his having been robbed thereof or had lost the same the preceding
Evening
