who,
being on Oath, saith that on Wednesday the seventh
day of this Instant June, he saw a Mob of persons
coming up Coleman Street
toseveral of whom appeared
armed with old swords, bludgeons and other such like
Weapons, that he stood in the Front door way of his said
Master's House, to which place this Mob of people came
up in a hostile manner, that he spoke to the Mob
hoping to pacify them but to no effect, says that several
of the Mob ask'd him why they were removing their
Goods, he

went towards whites Alley

Informant and
[..] clenching his Fist up to his face, demanded
to know from him, whether Mr. Charleton was a papist or
not, he informed Pateman that he knew nothing at all about
it; says that he then went to a Friends House when he staid
about an hour, when he returned and saw Pateman
the Prisoners very active in collecting money from several
of the Inhabitants of Coleman

another man, not now present going about to their houses
and ringing at their Bells and knocking at their Doors for
the purpose of getting money, that the said Pateman the
Prisoner
, appeared to be one of the ungleaders of the riot
that the Goods & Furniture
