for the Defendant in the
above Cause maketh Oath and saith thathe hathhaving been informed
that Defendant was exceedingly ill and incapable of attending the Court
on this day to take his Trial on the above Indictment this Deponent
went to the house about Twelve o'Clock this day where said Defendant
lodges whom he found wrap'd up in blankets drinking Teaat breakfasthaving just got up that he this
Deponent ask'd Defendant what was his Complaint who informed
him that he was then under Salivation and had been so for a week
last past And this Deponent saith that from every appearance of his
person and the Room Smell Etc he this Deponent from the description
he has had of Salivation verily believes Defendants answer to be
true and that it would be very Dangerous for Defendant as well
as offensive for him to attend this Honourable Court
