Inquest called the Wardmote Inquest for and within the sd. Ward
for one whole year then next ensuing by the Men inhabiting and
resiant paying scot and bearing Lot within the said Ward whereof the
said Hermanus Berens< no role > afterwards (to wit) on the said 21st
day of December in the 20th year aforesd. and at divers other days
& times at London aforesd. that is to say at the parish aforesaid
in the Ward aforesd. had Notice Nevertheless the said Hermanus
Berenslittle regarding his Duty in this behalf but
endeavouring & intending as much as in him lay totally to hinder
& retard the due Execution of Justice from the said 21st day of
December in the 20th. year aforesd. to the day of the taking of this
Inquisition hath voluntarily obstinately and contemptuously
wholly refused desired and neglected to take upon himself the
Office of one of the Wardmote Inquest against his said Duty
to wit as London aforesaid in the parish & Ward aforesd. In manifest
Contempt & delay of Justice To the bad example of all others
in the like cade offending and against the peace of our said Lord
the King his Crown & Dignity And the Jurors aforesd. upon
their Oath afsd. further present that the Hermanus Berens< no role >
