The Jurors for our Sovereign Lord the present King upon their
Oath present that the City of London is an Ancient City and that
according to the Custom of the said City from time whereof the
memory of Man is not to the Contrary used & approved in the
came at a Court of Wardmote held for the Ward of Langbourn
in London that is to say at the Parish of Saint
Dionis Back Churchwithin in the said Ward according to the
Custom of the City & Court aforesd. on the 21 day of Dec
in the 19th year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the sd.
King of Great Britain Etc before John Sawbridge< no role > Esquire
then & now one of the Aldermen of the sd. City & then & yet
Alderman of the sd. Ward One Hugh Johnson< no role > Andrew Kirwan< no role > late of London
Warehouseman Merchant then & long before being an
Inhabitant & resiant within the Ward aforesd. to wit in
the Parish of Saint Clement East Cheap Saint Mary Worlnorth
with in the sd. Ward and a fit & proper person to execute
the Office of One of the Inquest of the said Ward [..]
the Wardmote Inquest was lawfully & in due manner
according to the Custom of the said City & Coast of Wardmote
aforesaid then & there elected to be one of the Inquest called
the Wardmote Inquest for & within the said Ward for One
