of the Counting house Window faceing the Church
Yard, and that between Six & Seven OClock
at Night the said Stephens and Whitlow
was to Come and break the Shutters and
undo the bottom bolt which they did Effect
when they got in they Could notCould not
break the Desk open but broke open the
Clerks Drawer and took out thereof a
Quantity of Silver & Halfpences
but how Much this Informant Cannot
tell. saith that about three Weeks before
said Whitlow was to Come to his said Masters
for two Peices of Paper which this Informt.
promised to give to him but said Whitlow
not coming for them this Informant
took the said two Peices of Rented paper
to the Lodgings of Whitlows. saith that
about an hour afterwards the breaking Open
the Clerk Chest the said Stephens & Whitlow
Came again to his Masters House and took out
his Masters Desk into the Church Yard and there
broke Open the said Desk and took then out
about fifteen or Seveteen Pounds as this Informt.
has been told two Shillings of Which Money
this Informant Received from the said Stephens
and Whitlow [..]
