Maketh Oath and Saith, that he this Deponent was bound
by Recognizance to appeal at the Session of Oyer and Terminer
held for the City of London in July last to prosecute his Traverse
with effect to an Indictment against him for Perjury and this
Deponent further Saith that he did appeal at that Session to
take his Tryal but that two very material Witnesses to prove his
innocence could not them be there and this Deponent therefore
made affidavit in writing of their absence and his being unable
Safely to take his Trial without their testimony and the Honourable
Court there was moved by Hannam Esquire Barrister at Law
to respite the Deponents Recognizance and this Deponent was
informed by his [..] Sollicitor that the Court had consented that
his Recognizance should & respited upon which this Deponent
went away and the next Session appeared and produced his
Witnesses and took his Trial and was acquitted of the charge
against him
