of the Parish of Saint Ann in Blackfryers

WHEREAS Complaint has been unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Andrew
London, That Elizabeth Harris< no role > wife of John Harris< no role >
gone from her and their five Children that is to say
Elizabeth< no role > aged Eleven Years John < no role > aged Nine Years Juley Hannah< no role >
aged three Years Charles < no role > aged Two Years and Priscilla< no role > aged Six
Months did
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said Elizabeth Harris< no role > as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and We do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said John Harrris< no role > Elizabeth< no role > his wife
and their said five Children
to be in the said Parish of Saint Ann and that thitherto
the said Elizabeth Harris< no role > and her said five Children
and that thithertoought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in his Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire You the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Andrew
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said Elizabeth
Harris and her said five Children
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Saint Ann
And them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide for them according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this 18th Day of May One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Sixty Seven
