Informations of Witnesses touching the Death of
Elizabeth Allen< no role > taken upon Oath Before me one
of the Justices of the Peace for the County of Middx

Horses Alehouse in Old Street St. Luke's kept by Joseph

< no role > her Father, who being Sworn saith on Friday
the Seventh of December last about Ten in the forenoon
Mary Bell< no role > the Prisoner & Elizabeth Allen< no role > since decea [..]
came to the said House with a Man whose name is
James or William Draper< no role > who called for a Pot of
Purl & after that another That the man drank of the
first & part of the Second and left the Women together
by the Fire side & went away. That after he was gone
they put the remainder of the Purl into a Pint Pot &
sat friendly together. That Allen appeared to be in
liquor (and seem'd so when she first came in) but the
Prisoner was not fuddled. That Allen leant on the
other's Shoulder or Arm as they sat at which she seem
vastly affronted and sayd you whore don't ye lay
your head on my Shoulder Allen say'd I am Surpriz'd
you should call me whore when you know Moll you
are a greater Whore yourself The Prisoner replyed call
me whore again & I'll Split your Skull or to that effect
The Deceased repeated Then you are a Whore upon
which the Prisr. got up and threw the purl in her Face
and immediately cut her with the pot by giving her
violent Blow upon the left side of her Head still
holding the Pot in her Hand till this Deponent took it
from her That Allen imediately fell down without
speaking but fell into fits & remainder insensible
better than ten Minutes and while this Deponent was
on her knees with Allen's Head in her [..] Bosom she this
Depont. told the Prisoner she had kill'd her she Dam [..]
