Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of London in their
General Sessions of the Peace at Guild hall in and for the said
City assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Church
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Saint Peter le Poor in Broad Street London

Sheweth.

That by an Order under the Hands and Seals of Sir
Thomas Chitty< no role > Knight and William Alexander< no role > Esqr . two
of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said City of
London one of whom is of the Quorum bearing date the
16th. day of July 1762 Elizabeth< no role > the Wife of Joshua, Slater< no role >
was removed from the Parish of Saint Stephen in Coleman
Street London to the said Parish of Saint Peter le Poor in
Broad Street London as the Place of her last legal
Settlement by which Order your Petitioners think
themselves aggreived

Your Petitioners therefore humbly appeal to
this Honourable Court And Pray that the Church
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Stephen in Coleman Street London,
and all Parties concerned may attend the said
Court some day in this present Session to hear
and abide the Judgment and Determination of
the said Court touching the said Appeal And
that your Petitioners may have such Relief in
the Premisses as to the said Court shall seem meet

And your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc.
